An underutilized basement space converted into new Country Kitchen/Lounge at Standish Village Assisted Living and Memory Support Community. Located in the old Mason Regulator Company building, the design draws inspiration from the rich history of the site and Walter Baker & Co.’s Chocolate Factory. Nods to the history can be seen in color of materials representing cocoa/candy, antique industrial-styled light fixtures, and artisan backsplash tile, making this an ideal space to gather with friends, have coffee and read a book or newspaper.
